There is an hour long preview of this new electric formula on ITV+1 at 7 pm today.

I think the season kicks off next week in Beijing. All city circuits.

If this series hadn't captured your imagination yet, what is good about this season in particular, is they all have the same car. So it will be very much the best driver wins. Plenty of former F1 drivers are giving it a go.

One weird thing is if you download the app you can vote for the most deserving driver to get the equivalent of an extra 40 BHP. I'm not sure for how long. I guess they are trying to make it more interactive for viewers.

Starts at 8 am. Beijing city circuit. The future is now! ;)

I missed it also, but it will be shown again at 8 pm (Norwegian time) on Viasat Motor tonight. I have set it on timed recording ;-)

A bit of a surprizing end....and only Prost to blame. Lucas Di Grassi was the lucky one ;-)

Not shure what I think of the race though? Got a kind of feeling of an upscaled RC-race....

Top speed ~ 160 km/h, 5 speed gearbox and not that impressive acceleration.

I can't say I was very impressed but I am not shure what I expected either...?

Yeah; a sort of high pitched, irritating whine.

Quite the opposite to commentator Dario Franchitti - I think he made the odd mumbled comment during the race.

Nico .  .  .  .  .  you don't want to be on a race track side-by side with anyone called Nico.

I wasn't impressed. As Arne says it was just like a RC race
