I just hope he remains motivated after that salary cut. It's still a healthy wage, even for an F1 driver but he is more than one fifth the driver that Alonso is.

Yeah that was a good read.


Must be a kick in the teeth for Jenson though ... he's took a 50% pay cut and Alonso comes in at nearly 5 x times his salary.


At least he has kept in the sport he loves though, so I am sure that must be him #1 priority and not the $$$£££'s yeah  :rolleyes:


Good they have kept Magnussen on the team - so he could come back in a year or 2 then when they do retire Button.


It will be good to see Alonso v Button though - that does sound a good prospect.
