I've always liked the 360 and toyed with the idea of getting one last year before I bought the Cayman. As I've now decided to sell the Cayman I've had another look at them and enquired about three over the weekend. The first dealer still hasn't got back to me, the second car turned out to have 12 owners in 14 years, the third had two owners ( good) with the last owning it for 7 years ( I'm now getting excited) BUT the second owner has not serviced the car since buying it in 2007!!!! WTF.The dealer said don't worry we will send to Ferrari for a service, I politely told them I wasn't interested. I wouldn't buy a Fiesta that hadn't been serviced for 7 years never mind a Ferrari.I might have a look at one local to me this week but I'm not holding out much hope, I thought a Ferrari would have been cherished but it looks like I was wrong.Think I'll stick with the Jag

I guess it is not an everyday car so the owners are thinking it doesn't need servicing regularly? Did the salesman mention what the service cost on one of those was?

They should be serviced every year regardless of mileage, having said there are quite a few that have missed the odd service here and there, most seem to have 8/10 stamps over the space of 12/14 years.I think the annual service is around £600-£800, every third service requires belts which add about £1k I think. They are quite expensive to maintain, but the almost zero deprecation offsets that.

Done a bit of digging on the 12 owner car even though I wasn't interested in it.Turns out it was inspected last week and it has gearbox problems (F1 gearbox), a very poor front end respray, faulty dash caused by a battery jump start ( a big no no on a Ferrari) very worn seats and a few other bits, also appears to have done 60k miles not 40k. The dealer described it to me as 'in excellent condition' lying barsteward!!!! It seems like most of these so called 'prestige' car dealers can be trusted no more than a back street garage. There does appear to be a handful of trusted Ferrari specialist who source only the best cars, looks like if I want one I'll have to stick with these guys.
